Bridgette, the person behind The Kettle Post

🌊 About Bridgette

Hi, I’m Bridgette

Come on in now, tea’s just been put on.

The Kettle Post began with a simple idea: slowing down long enough to write and receive a real letter.

With family roots in Newfoundland, some of my favourite memories were made around kitchen tables, on little boats, along quiet shorelines, and over cups of tea after a day outside. Those moments inspired me to create something that feels just as comforting.

Every month I put together an envelope filled with Newfoundland stories, photographs, recipes, tea, books, and thoughtful handmade details that invite you to pause for a while.

More than a letter ✨

Small traditions worth keeping

Newfoundland at heart

Stories, recipes, photographs, and memories inspired by family, place, and the comforts of home.

Real mail in a digital world

Each envelope helps keep handwritten letters and the postal journey alive, one stamp and one mailbox at a time.

Books and community

Bridgette’s Bookshelf encourages readers to borrow from local libraries and keep stories accessible to everyone.

When you support The Kettle Post...

You are supporting an independent woman-owned small business, helping keep real mail moving through the postal system, and encouraging a continued love of books, local libraries, storytelling, and meaningful connection in an increasingly digital world.

Every letter mailed, book borrowed, stamp purchased, and story shared helps keep these small but meaningful traditions alive.

Every envelope tells a story.

I’m so glad you’re here. Put the kettle on, settle in, and welcome to The Kettle Post.
